I was a teenager at the time, so that might make the movie produced during the mid to late 80’s? The only thing that I can remember about the movie is that it’s about a woman having an affair, and her estranged husband kills her lover. One scene in particular that I remember is them making love under an ocean pier. Could you please help so I can stop whacking my brain?

The only one I can think of is “Unfaithful” with Richard Gere and Diane Lane but that was in 2002.
