When I add movies to my site, like for example, a preview I made, it’s about 50MB, I upload it via my FTP and when I go to view my own site, it just says buffering. Granted, it IS buffering, but I would like people to see the movie, not wait 10 minutes for it to come up!!!
Also, I am not sure how, but I would like the code to make a download available from my site. I make and produce movies and short video clips, and can’t seem to figure out how to add a download link.

Your talking about Streaming Media, you’ll need to contact your website host with regards to it and if is it available.

Or you could perhaps try to link to a video frYou-Tubeube. Or even a flash vidplug ingin.

Compress your video using better codecs 50MB would be a hefty download from some users out there! Try without sound as well to make the file smaller unless you need it of course.
