Question by AidenInHeaven: How to make a countdown (not myspace or facebook related, not timer)?
In the past, I’ve used various different free video editing software raning form windows movie maker to video edit magic etc.
I’m currently trying to put together a countdown of various clips to show to an group of audience, and am having difficulties finding a software that would allow me to make one.
I’m talking about countdowns like most music video countdowns airing on TV (i.g. Fuse – No. 1 Countdown, MTV – Rock, VH1 – Top 20 Countdown).
The only capabilities I need, is to have a number appear at the top left of the screen after about 20 seconds into the clip, and for the number to be in a square or some other form of small background so that it’s obvious and not blended into the video background.
and I’m hoping to do this on a freeware. I know I’m asking a lot, but if anyone could provide me a good software that is capable of the above necessities, I’ll gladly give away the 10 pts. right away.
