I have transfered all my home movies to DVD using a DVD recorder. I now want to put some clips on youtube and I need to know how to take a .vob file and make it youtube compatible. I have tried youtube uploader software but the final product video is very grainy. Someone please help me with this, I have only a few hairs left to pull and I need those for my comb over.

You need a video converter.. check out download.com, they have tons of them.
