can somone please help me with my movie making nonsense.
I have vegas movie studio for sony. and i have a sony hand held.
Its blurry when i capture it. but its not blurry on my camcorder when i am playing it back or when i am recording. why is this? is there some way i can fix the quality? It doesnt show me how in the manual and it diesnt seem to have any quality options on the software.
I really need to do this. its for my dads wedding video and i promised him that i would edit it for him.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME SHAKING THE CAMERA OR ZOOMING IN AND OUT TO MUCH!!!!
IT IS FINE WHEN I HOOK IT UP TO MY TV AND IT IS FINE WHEN I WATCH IT ON THE LITTLE MONITOR THING ATTACHED TO THE CAMCORDER.
IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE QUALITY OF THE SOFTWARE!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP IF YOU KNOW ANTHING ABOUT COMPUTERS OR VIDEO OR SOFTWARE.

Sometimes a problem is technical, and needs some technical info up-front. You say it’s a Sony handheld but what type/model is it (so we can look it up online). One thing to consider is that your computer screen has a much higher resolution than a TV (standard, not HD) and when shown will tend to look worse than it is. A test would be to just download a segment from the wedding to your computer, do some minor edits, save to a new file, then move it back to your handheld on a NEW tape (if it’s tape based – kwim?). Play back your edited version on the TV. If it looks good then the “problem” was only your expectations of how it should look on the PC.
