Question by petron: Can you make a movie using Adobe After Effects?
I just need some clarification.
For example the movie needs to be 2 hours
Can you edit (join, split, or trim videos) the movie (no special effects included) using AE alone?

Is AE only for adding special effects to short videos or can it also function as Movie Maker or Sony Vegas?

Sure . Import the clips and Position them one after the other on the time line.
