Question by Smexy looking: Are there any toy guns besides airsoft that have a slideable rack and/or magazine loader?
Yo, i live in australia so airsoft is illegal over here and im desperate to have a realistic fake gun for a movie of mine ):
I tried making cardboard ones that have a spring etc but its too complicated when people in the tuts dont give u a link to their own blueprints and expect you to come up with your own and i suck at that.
I tried searching google but all that comes up are: Buy airsoft guns here for a cheap price! or something like that…
And i cannot buy a real gun without a gun license and i have no interest in buying a real gun just for some low budget film. I also dont want people saying to buy a regular toy gun for my film coz there are some scenes that the charecters slide back or load a magazine into their pistols.

Replicas? thanks, but how can one tell if they are real or not? i dont want to get in trouble when were filming at different locations… And besides, i already spent money on sets etc, may not be able to cough up like another $ 200
…And by another $ 200, i cant waste too much money on each charecters. 5 charecters have guns so basically that would mean each gun would cost $ 1000!

I believe there are realistic replicas of firearms with a working bolt and detachable magazine. They may be pricey, though.
