Pony Piano – Twilight Sparkle’s Mind is a Curious Place

Inspiration comes in the strangest of places, as it were. While watching the most recent episode of the glory that is My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in which Twilight Sparkle puts Pinkamina to utter shame with her insanity, a little motif was played around 19:42 by the piano. It’s subtle use of mode mixture left me intrigued. So using those 6 some-odd notes, I composed a piano etude of sorts which graphs Twilight’s progression from anxiety to insanity….all mollified in the end by some sensitive words from Princess Celestia. Winter Wrap up remixes, eat your heart out, I’m making something from nothing. Sheet music might be made available…someday. And yes, this is my first youtube upload ever.
