Question by pleb: PLEASE HELP! My computer plays DVDs in foreign languages!?
Okay, this is what happened.
I copied a DVD to my hard drive using roxio burn (no problem)
It plays in english but when I open it with movie maker (to make a short video) it plays in french!
And this other film I copied plays fine except when I use movie maker, it plays the first 20 mins in english then the rest in spanish! I’ve checked google and this has happened to a few people. (reckon they do it to stop uploading to youtube?) but i only wanted to make a short fan video.
If you can’t help me fix it can someone please give me some suggestions for any other good video making tools that i can download? that won’t change the language? thanks!

Virtualdub is the excellent and powerful freeware.. google it..
