Photo Slideshow Software?

So for my mother’s memorial, i have a bunch of pictures of her with friends and i want to focus on her, but not completely chop her friends out of the pictures. So what i wanted to do was make a slideshow where the picture starts full size then zooms in on her. But i dont have the right software…
Can anyone tell me what FREE software i can use to do this (most likely a movie making software) and/or where i can download it?
Thanks to all of you who had suggestions but i just borrowed my friend’s mac and used iMovie. but i did download a few of the movie tools and they’ll be great for everything else. I cant decide who to pick so i’ll let them vote 🙂
