PC Slow Down?

When making movie copies my PC slows down to a crawl, checking mail or surfing are very slow, I burn from my DVD drive to my hard drive using DVD Fab. Is there anyway to speed the PC up when copying DVDs.
I have 1GB of ram and 250GB of hard drive using Windows XP. The copying process seems to run fast “3 hour movie copies in 1 hour” just that I can’t run any other pregram till its finished. Thanks Joe

Very common. When burning, the data is cashed to you hard drive and this uses a lot of resources (memory and hard drive). Slow down your burn speed and you speed up, or just accept it that you can’t do much with your PC while you are burning.
