Im looking for a program that i can buy that is for movie making, like windows movie maker, but i want it to have cooler effects and things. i researched online and the only ones i can find are like $ 100 and up and i cant afford that. i just want something i can use to make videos and put them on youtube.

Well, most moviemaking software’s will be over $ 100 or more. As you can see, this list shows a comparison of all of them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_video_editing_software As far as I can tell there are only 4 free software’s.
Here is another link http://video-editing-software-review.toptenreviews.com/ that shows a comparison plus a review of all the top consumer grade video editing software.
I personally use Adobe Premiere Elements. You can get it at a student discount for like $ 80 (it’s normally $ 120). If you find a software you like, see if you can qualify for a student discount.
