Movie Making?

Question by Clare: Movie Making?
I’d like to make a film on Windows Movie Maker or WinDVD and i have a DVD that i’d like to use, is there anyway i can put the DVD onto my computer, and edit parts of it? If you get what I mean.
Thanks.
Whenver i try to import it, it just says that it can’t be imported. Any advice?

yes there is

to put the DVD into your computer, you need a DVD-drive. Check your disc tray to see whether it says DVD-ROM or not. If it does, put your DVD in.

Got to Windows Movie Maker and go to File>Import. Browse to your DVD drive and import whichever file you want. If you can not see any files in your DVD, pull-down the “file type” menu and select “All”.

Edit away.

Oh and if you are not sure which files to import, open them separately before opening WMM.
