‘The Adjustment Bureau’ deftly mixes smart sci-fi, romance
“The Adjustment Bureau” falls into the “soft” science-fiction category, which means its a movie aimed at women that’s full of what-if scenarios, complex characters and tragic love. But smart men will seek it out instead of writing it off as a mere “chick flick.” It’s a romance at heart, but it also plays some of the same existential mind games as “Inception.”
