Violet finds the hideout of the bandits who kidnapped the merchant’s brother. With the local villagers, now trained as footmen, on her side, they take the bandit hideout by storm. On her way back to the city, she and her little army join a battle of hundreds of soldiers, only to learn what a bunch of sissies even the largest of armies can be. There’s still trouble in Sargoth, and after a troubling incident, Violet decides it’s time to leave and explore the rest of the Caldaria.
