ok, the first mortal kombat movie was absolutely terrible, in terms of the story line, but the second one wasn’t too bad, it was only the graphics that killed it, i honestly think if they had an awesome story line and with the technology today they could make a mad mortal kombat movie, cmon they did dragon ball Z and streetfighter, wich in my opinion were terrible!! .. what you guys think?

You’re the first person I have seen that seems to prefer the second mk movie over the first one, which I find really shocking because it had a horrible story. The first one had a bland story, but the fights were cool. The sequel story was all over the place and the fights were pathetic . Did you ever notice how many actors they replaced in the sequel, thats because the thought the script was that bad. I could go on and on how bad the second one was, but I don’t think this is the right place for it.

To answer your question. no, they should not make another mortal kombat movie. One of the main problem is that Hollywood fails to give any respect to the story of which many videogame/anime movies are based. And Mortal kombat movies has already been going downhill. Its best not to try and revive it.
