mobiuslol – The Templar Trap (Assassin’s Creed-inspired Short Film)

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU READ THIS FIRST! Alright there’s a story behind this particular project so here goes. Last September we came up with the idea for an Assassin’s Creed-inspired web series set in modern day times. We wrote about 3 episodes out of maybe 8. This was actually supposed to be episode 3. Due to several reasons, we decided to put the entire project on ‘indefinite hold’, but before we did that we had already shot the entirety of episode 3. Since we weren’t going to restart the project any time soon (and if we did we’d probably rewrite and reshoot everything), I decided to edit the footage that we already shot. This is the result. You can easily see the directing mistakes and ambiguity of story. Some scenes are a little jerky between cuts and whatnot but hey every video is a learning process. In the end we still had fun making this and that’s what matters for us.
