If you dig 1911-style pistols and you want a lot for your money, consider the excellent Charles Daly Field 1911, Model EFS, in caliber .45 ACP. Also it has snag-free low profile sights (similar to Novaks), an ambidextrous safety and an extended slide release. The trigger pull seemed crisp.
