my 9th grade social studies class has decided to make a movie based on the book Animal Farm. We need some ideas on what stuff we need in order to do this to make it a good “school” movie. Any ideas

Holy crow…okay, let’s see. You need costumes to represent the various animals. Don’t try to go too far and make your actors look like the real thing, use ideas that represent an animal. For example, a cow could be in a white sheet stitched to fit, and painted with black spots. Get one of those head things with the bobbing antenna’s and put (for example a toilet paper or paper towel roll, empty) on the antennae. With a bit of paint it could look like horns. Unless you have a farm nearby that you could use for your set, you’ll need to make some backdrops to set the scene. Again, you don’t need to think “Hollywood” levels here, this is a learning experience for you so use your imaginations to represent the things you need to show. I know this is very brief (honestly it is) but I hope it might give you some ideas to work with. Good luck! oops….maybe I should say “Break a leg!”
