Major Windows Movie Maker problem!! And its not about the freezing, its about the converting! Can someone help

Question by Narutarded Genius: Major Windows Movie Maker problem!! And its not about the freezing, its about the converting! Can someone help
I make AMVS using windows movie maker, and i just recently finished making my best one. I clicked on File>create movie file to convert it into a wmv file. And then after i complete the steps, the load bar pops up with the estimated time. But instead of going down on minutes, it kept increasing in minutes by 5 every seconds! In a minute or two it soon became like, 300 minutes!!! I tried redoing the conversion many times, restarting the computer, etc. One time when i was redoing it, it stopped at 12% and then started to go up in minutes.

The file is about 17 mb and it says i have 30 gb of free space. Or something like that. All my files are safe and sound, and i can play the video using WMM.

This has happened to me before on this REALLY slow laptop and i ended up lowering the file size so much you couldnt see what the pictures were, but it worked. I dont want that to happen again, this is my best video yet! Please someone help!
Oh, hahaha! I explained everything without even asking the question >.>

Question: How can i resolve this issue? Any tips or tricks i can do to make sure it does everything as planned?

Also, i’ve converted smaller videos before, maybe smaller by 20 seconds and it worked fine. I even converted one yesterday and it was perfectly fine!

Sorry that no one was able to help you but i will try. I understand your problem, it happens to some people and it is really annoying. I have an answer but it is really risky. I might be able to help you but you might lose important data. You can go back in time before the problem just happened to you ( i know it happened twice, just go back before the recent problem ) and you can go back in time by system restore which you can go to by start, all programs, accessories, system tools, and system restore and a calendar will come and you choose the day you want to go to. This is the only option i have for you but when i did it, it fixed the problems i had and i did not lose any important data, for some reason. SO i hope i was able to help you.
