Lawyer or teacher…..which one?

Question by iFanFarm: Lawyer or teacher…..which one?
I have always wanted to do something great with my life. I have thought about a lot of things, like pharmacy, doctor, lawyer, architect, film editing, graphic design, detective, criminal investigation, teacher, etc.

But Im a freshman in college, and I have realized that some of those ideas weren’t meant to be. I was planning on being a doctor, until I realized I suck at science and math.
I then thought about graphic design, architect, film because I love art, making movies and stuff, but its more of a hobby, so that was out

Anyway, Im down to to career choices at the moment….criminal lawyer or english or history or spanish teacher/ basketball coach

I have always loved history, but I have discovered that the job market for history and english teachers is poor, so im worried I would not find a job i would want to teach. Spanish teachers are in higher demand, but my school doesn’t offer a major in it, and I can’t transfer for financial reasons.
But I think the main reason for wanting to teach is that I want to coach, because basketball is what I have always loved to do.

The reason for criminal lawyer, is that I find it very interesting, I have recently discovered that I am very good at english, writing and what not, and I know its an important part of being a lawyer. I also am good at arguing, to a point where I am hardly ever wrong because I prove myself right. Plus if I ever did choose to go for detective, many organizations look for lawyers, I have heard.

My question is for a little help deciding. If your a high school teacher, know any teachers or coaches that you could share their experiences on here? Are a lawyer, do you like it, hate it?

What advice can you give me, and if I do choose lawyer, how do I choose a law school, what are the requirements to get in, and rough GPA they look for

Lawyer makes more money = more time and effort to get this job (needs high GPA)
Teacher = easier to get this job then lawyer but not a high paying job
