Question by : law abiding citizen, what are YOUR views……….?
mans family murdered in front of him, guy who did it gets off easy as the lawer made a deal with him
so the man (mr sexy butler) takes law into his own hands

did gerard butler do the ‘right thing’?
did he make himself a ‘criminal’ by doing it?
what would YOU do?

did you enjoy the movie?

(the end pd me off, but other than that loved it, loved gerard, hes made for those roles
tho i always wonder WHY not just let him speak scottish)
of course tim, mr sexy butler doesnt care for your silly minor indiscretions only that you dont kill his wife and child, a fair request i think

and indeed you are right, this was about the morality, seems some people need a wee helping hand to understand that 🙂
hawkeye exactly, thats the exactly what i was hoping for too

but you know hollywood, they have to keep the propaganda that suggests lawyers are good people ‘inside’ and the system works ,

same as you when it started to get ‘good guys win but hes not a good guy’ it ruined the whole point

also, um, didnt that lawyer just commit murder? either it proves the point of gerard butlers character or they didnt have the guts to go through with the whole point
i get the feeling its the latter going by hollywood
fur, me thinks you get the point even tho you havent seen it

i suggest you see it tho for the first part of the movie where mr sexy butlers character does his thing, right up till they ‘catch him’ near the end, cos for anyone who wants ‘real justice’ its a good movie (if a little muted)

sad thing is the movie agrees , then stops agreeing, thats where it goes wrong
this movie only supports sentiments that our soceity isnt working, and i think most people agree the law and justice is a huge reason for that
