Imagine I write the script for a succesful horror hollywood movie. How much money do you think I would make? Only by giving them the script.

Like, a movie as succesful as… The pirates of the carribian?

Well, you would be credited as the mastermind behind it all, because you as the writer created the visionary. What happen is when you submit your manuscript of your scrrenplay, the company either keeps on the shelf, or an agent (your agent) tends to sell it to a director. Let’s say the director gives you 5,000,000 just for a great screenplay, those 5 million are yours to keep. However, you still get royalty for just thinking of the story plot. Neat huh?
