My new camera and phone record videos in the quicktime format, which is not compatible with windows movie maker. Does anyone know of a free download for a program that would allow me to put clips of different movies together in order to make a short movie of them all combined just as windows move maker would do? Thanks!

You can get the free trial version of Sony Vegas, then, if you like it, download it. If not, a quick Google search would bring up a list of some programs that may suit you based on personal preference, which I wouldn’t know of.
