How to Shoot Portals IRL

Quick behind the scenes info on how we did some of the effects in our Portal-inspired short film “Experimental Portal Device”. WATCH IT HERE www.youtube.com All of the effects were done in Adobe After Effects and to be honest none of them are that difficult. In this video, I go through very briefly each of the major effects seen in the video. I didn’t go into much detail and this video basically serves as a quick overview of the effects. Those of you who are somewhat experienced in After Effects should be able to understand and pull off the techniques I cover briefly in this video without needing a full-blown tutorial.
