How to make the my recorded audio soundbetter?

Question by Lilly: How to make the my recorded audio soundbetter?
My friend and I are making a movie, and I am the narrator. Of course no one can see my face, I am just talking into a micro phone. However, when I listen back to the sound, it doesn’t sound very good. Is there any type of program I can use to change this? I have realplayer…(newer version)?
Thanks.

Have someone else make that determination. Our recorded voices never sound good to us – that’s not the voice you hear when you talk. (Most of what you hear is conducted to your ears through your skull, not through the air.) The only way to change it, if you still decide to, is with an external equalizer. Once the sound gets into the computer, that’s the sound you record.
