Many people are making Top 10 lists, so why shouldn’t I? However, it was kinda hard to pick a subject, as I really haven’t played a lot of games. I had to limit myself to the FF series, and as we all know, it is known for its great music. Well, at least until Uematsu-san left. So, I present to you my Top 10 FF Battle Themes. This video contains the first five (or maybe I should say last), with some pictures thrown in to make the viewing experience a little more interesting. Most of them should be easily recognizable, but I’ll add annotations with the titles later. At least I can say that four out of five here are from final battles. Not necessarily THE final battle, but you get the point. I must say this was very hard to do. These are all very good tunes, and the quality difference from #10 to #1 isn’t more than half a point out of 10. I’ll probably regret this order next week. Now, let’s see if anyone can guess the last five (or maybe I should say first). I promise you that the numero uno spot isn’t something cliché. In fact, I’ll be impressed if anyone can guess it.
