My fiance is a big fan of the friday the 13th movies and i want to make him a 3-D Jason Voorhees hockey mask cake for his 30th birthday. I have a pan that would be perfect 2 do the shape of the hockey mask the only thing I’m going to have trouble with is trying to make the mask look dirty and beat up looking. Any ideas? And what is the best way to get the buttercream icing smooth as I am not a professional I don’t have all the tools required.

I dunno, but instead of a knife, if you could finde a machete (even a fake one) for him to cut the cake with, I bet he’d find that funny.
