How to improve picture quality when burning home movie to DVD?

Question by : How to improve picture quality when burning home movie to DVD?
I have Canon mini DV digital camcorder. When I transfer video to computer (via I1394) and use Sonic MyDVD to make home movie on DVD (using HQ=DVD Quality setting) I am not happy with the result (some snowing, I have to watch movie like from 20 feet on 42″ TV not to see it). Coping from camcorder to VHS tape and playing on my VCR produces picture quality 100% better. My computer is HP a1200y (bought in 2006). DVD burner is Samsung SH-S222L. Media is TDK DVD+R. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe you should try another software, If you want to burn any video files to DVD, and can play well on home DVD player, there is an easy way and the better choice, you can try RZ DVD Creator, it can create/burn standard video DVD from any videos, it can burn long videos into one DVD, it can burn multi videos into one DVD, it can auto fit the size, it can easy add professional dynamic DVD menu, it can convert and burn any videos to DVD(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc), such as avi to DVD, mts to DVD, etc.

You can yahoo or google search and download “RZ DVD Creator”, work well on my computer, easy to use, good quality, most functionality, hope it can help you.
