Question by Earthmover: How to get permission to use a song in a movie?
I’m making a really good movie, and i expect it to make money. How can i get permission to use someone else’s music in my movie? Do I contact the band, or their record?

You’d have to get permission from the creater or owner of the music(the artist, writer etc.)
You generally have to pay as well. It’s very unlikly you would be able to use it for free.
