I want to write a Simpsons spec-script, mostly just for fun.
I want to know when the act-breaks need to go in, and how long the script must be overall.
Notes on format–or source sites for all of these questions–would be appreciated.
Also, I am assuming “spec-script” means speculation, meaning that you are writing it as an example of your work, not really to sell it. What is the exact definition of spec-script, and what are the things it can mean

20 Min. Double space it. Some say triple space it. Spec-script means you are not hired to write scripts. You would like to sell it. Tough business to be in.
