How does one get their book made into a movie?

Question by ~: How does one get their book made into a movie?
I’m only 16, but I am currently writing a book and hope to get it miraculously published. But theoretically speaking, if it was published, how would I go about making it into a movie?

Please, no negative or hateful comments. I’m serious about this 😛
If you can, I’d love it if you could explain the actual process. I mean what happens after the my book (theoretically speaking) does well and becomes a ‘hit’? And could I be the director and/or producer?

I love writing too! If you think it’s good enough to publish, you can self publish it online by googling it. You can’t make it into a movie yourself though, trust me, don’t even try. Books are not always made into movies, only ones that are famous. If you are self publishing a book, chances are it’s NOT going to get turned into a movie. Books that are turned into movies are ones that are read often, easy to find, popular, and famous. Sorry.
