My father has no computer at home, but he has a DVD reader connected to his TV. I own a Mac and have several movie files he would like to watch. How do I burn them to DVD’s so he can watch these MPEG and Quicktime movies using his DVD reader on his TV? Do I need special software? Free solutions are a plus!

Use iDVD. You can also compile all videos in iMovie, export them to iDVD and burn a DVD for daddy.
