How do I add the sounds of my choice to a movie I’m making with Adobe Premier Elements 2.0?

Question by Im2hard2please: How do I add the sounds of my choice to a movie I’m making with Adobe Premier Elements 2.0?
My old 8mm camera makes noise when it records and I’d like to remove that noise and add some nice sounds; either music or birds singing, to my video befor I burn it to DVD.

Can someone tell me how that’s done? And is there some website where I can go get the type of sounds I want? Like birds chirping/singing….to add to my country scene?

Try looking at the Free Sound Project. http://www.freesound.org/index.php

All the SFX from there is user submitted and is under a CC license (Creative Commons) basically it’s royalty free as long as you give credit.

Just make sure you try looking for a WAV file instead of mp3, WAV is CD quality audio and will provide you little problems of glitches or drop-outs.

And while Idk anything about Premier Elements, I would just ether drag in the sound file, or import it to your bin, or timeline.
