Help with making/designing my movie poster?

Question by moe: Help with making/designing my movie poster?
Well I don’t know much about brushes(and how they work) and I want to like make it a professional feel and good look to it. I want to make it stand out. The movie is about your own design on your idea on a movie and I need some advice. It has to be done in photoshop and I’m pretty good on it.
I understand what you are saying Anna, that will be hard to make though. And yes the movie is based off of my own ideas, but what will be hard is actually making it.

I’m kind of confused.

The poster is supposed to promote creating you’re own… movie? Or promoting designing you’re own poster for you’re own movie ??

Ah. Regardless. I think I get you. I’m a spontaneous creative person. The ideas just like… flash in my head. For like a second.

When I thought about it the idea flashed in my head to kind of have like, the poster being a “behind the scenes” kind of view. And what you see is a dark sillhouette of like, a big ass camera, like maybe a portion of a camera man, those little cool seats they have on the sets of movies, and like cords, and idk. You get my drift. But its all kind of a rounded sillhoutte, and its really dark, like I said before, and than in the middle of the poster, is a really bright lighted set, and maybe you can make someone really … like exagarated and cliche of a movie set. I thought of like a scene of a bunch of people like really “done up” and well dressed, and like sitting like symmetrically in like… a really well set formate, and the attention is on these two center people.

But you know, you can put whatever you want in the middle. Your probably don’t know what im saying. I dont know, but well if you want my help, im really good at this kind of stuff, just let me know 🙂
