i am usually downloading psp games, movies, videos, music(but i don’t have any problems regarding the speed of my music downloads) i download psp games from pspisoz.com w/c takes like, 3 hours, the LEAST!!! while i download my movies in limewire or in utorrent w/c also takes 3 to 5 hours!!!! what i need is how to make these downloads faster, b/c i see in youtube their download speed is like 3000 to 4000 kb/s or 3 to 4 mbps. how did they do it or does anyone know how to make my downloads these fast. i am currently using DAP(download accelerator plus premium) but its useless.. it only gives me 53 kb/s!!! but in youtube, i see 4 mbps!!! can anyone pls give me a step by step process to make my downloads faster??(like software..etc) i am using a toshiba NB 200 laptop w/ windows 7 starter and a PC with windows 7 premium… i need answers ASAP!!!!

You can’t…..Download speeds are determined by;
A) the Speed your ISP allows you to upload and download
B) the Speed the site you are downloading the file from allows its users to retrieve files.
C) Sites like Limewire the Speed is determined by the person or persons you are downloading the file from. So if the person has a slow download speed, downloading the file will be a very slow process. Also the number of people you are downloading from will also affect the speed. If only 1 person has the file you are looking for, the speed will be much slower than if 20 people have the file. As Limewire used BitTorrent to facilitate the download…So the more people who have the file (and have the software set to allow you to download it from their computer), the faster it will download.
D) Sites such as YouTube have a high rate of speed set for their users to download their videos….Other Sites that have this are Microsoft, NBC, CBS, FOX, Last.fm, Pandora….and most any site that has streaming video or audio. As the site will not work properly if you can not download the video or audio you wish to see/hear fast.
