Preferrably freeware. Oh and not Window Movie Maker b/c I need something a little more capable. Thanks.

Windows Movie Maker is the best free product, but I’ve listed other free video editing software below. If your willing to spend a little bit for a better product I recommend Ulead Video Studio or Adobe Premiere Elements. You can even download a free trial of either product to see if it will meet your needs.
Virtual dub
A powerful freeware video editor with lots of features, including a choice of compression codecs, splitting, addition of audio tracks. Excellent.
