Question by : Does anyone know an acting studio where you learn to act and go on to being famous in New York City?
I recently watched Orphan and since Isabelle (Esther/Leena) is my age she inspired me to become an actress. I would really like to go on to making movies just like Isabelle did. Does anyone know some Theater/Film Acting places in Manhattan, New York City? Please answer I would really appreciate your help!

There are no guarantees.
With high risk, comes high reward – but a large potential for failure.
There are a million acting schools in NYC. Having observed a great many actors in my time, I can say that acting cannot be taught. The greatest benefit to any acting school is the connections it will afford you, and how they prepare you to deal with the realities of the professional world.
(ie., agents, contracts, being on time to a 4am shoot, shooting between 8am through 2pm, then rehearsing for evening shoots, then ending the day at 10pm, then doing it all again for weeks on end, etc.)
