sigh. given the pesky snow in chicago, patrick and april‘s plane was delayed. but! the pizza is ready to go in the oven — they’s a-gonna be hungry when they get here around 1 a.m., so we decided to make a homemade pizza for their arrival: tomato sauce, little bitta mozarella, fresh basil, crumbled goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and a slight sprinkling of gorgonzola on half. little bitta oregano in the dough, basta, you gotta pizza.

so, now we’re sitting here killing time. how are we killing it? by watching movie car chase scenes. above, you’ve got your steve mcqueen, racer extraordinaire, chasing the bad guys through the hills of san francisco in a money-green 1968 ford mustang GT 390 fastback.
