After his untimely passing this past August, we decided to make this years’ Halloween Party a John Hughes Haloween Party, and I’d love your help with some fun adult beverage ideas or cocktails taken from his movies.
I’d prefer to not just go as a movie character, but something funny. My ideas for costumes so far: “John Hughes Movie Marathon” (Wear running clothes and race number with various movie scenes ironed on them) or a dress with mini cars/planes/trains sewn on and literally be “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles”.
John Hughes was an American film director, producer and writer. He scripted some of the most successful films of the 1980s and 1990s, including National Lampoon’s Vacation; Ferris Bueller’s Day Off; Weird Science; The Breakfast Club; Some Kind of Wonderful; Sixteen Candles; Pretty in Pink; Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Uncle Buck; Home Alone, Mr. Mom, Dutch, 101 Dalmations and more.
