I’ve used Audacity to edit and create my own tunes and applied Photostory to make my own slideshows complete with music.
Can someone recommend to me a good movie editing program that’s free? I’ve heard of Song Vegas but I can’t find a free version anywhere. Can someone suggest an alternative and provide me a link also?

You can use the in-built movie editing software for Windows XP called the Windows Movie Maker.
It is not bad if you know how to use it. :P.
