Question by Canadian Bacon: Can anyone give me some info about being a movie critic?
Would writing about movies for magazines, newspapres, etc. be a viable career choice?

I mean, do they make a decent amount of money? I’m at the age now where the future is something I need to think about. I’ve always had a bit of a way with words, so careers that require writing skills are an option for me.

Pretty much any information about this type of job would be appreciated, preferably from someone with first-hand experience.

also, contact your local newspaper staff writer for ways to contact someone in that field for more information or that staff member may know of more direct way to obtain information seeking.
