If looking at this makes you think of the movie lord of the rings, then you need to snap back a little bit to the future and to the real world. The lord of the rings story was far from a real world anyway. This is the Chicago Tribune building, built in the 1920s. Took and zoomed on this shot from Lake Michigan. Used spot metering on the clouds.

Anyway, going back to the lord of the rings stuff — movie wise — it was pathetic. For a few reasons. Why assign helpless, stupid, and pathetic hobbits to carry that ring to the volcano. Physically and mentally, those hobbits are weaklings. Its like asking a marathon champion to lift 210kg. Another thing is — that movie has a really dumb villain. Sauron(I think). Or should I say Sauron the Fool — Searching and scrambling the countryside to search for his lost ring which was molded in the volcano where he lives — duh?? why not make 10 more of them. Third, that wizard(I don’t know why he was called a wizard anyway when he is also dumb — name’s gandalph, I don’t know if that’s the correct spelling, but I prefer to call him DUMBdalph), with all his powers and "intellect", never thought of just carrying the ring, ride one of his powerful eagles and drop that damned ring into the volcano in the middle of the night when all people at mordor are snoring their hearts out. The undead, Aragorn and that archer legolas — remember that scene when they disembarked from the ship, and the undead running on water toward the orcs? If the undead don’t get tired, can run fast EVEN on water… why the hell, did they have to ride the boat???? when they can run straight from their haunted caves into minas tirith?? There’s more. If you want to know, watch that movie.

Really pathetic — if you get what I mean. At least the movie could have explained why.

Anyway, at least we are not in middle earth. We are in the real earth where people actually think — but the villains are not dumb either. And in the Philippines, the villains are so smart, that they get millions in just a year, for a job where they’re often absent, they just sit there with their pot bellies, smile, make comments and officially that job pays them just thirty thousand a month. You figure the math.

‘Bigger’ isn’t always ‘better’ in sports
Like confetti at a wedding, hyperbole at political conventions and rice at weddings, the term “bigger and better” has been used to the point of overuse, striking the ear, if it taps the eardrum at all, like background music on a short elevator ride.[…]
