alright so before i use to make films with my friends and edit them and add effects and music through windows movie maker simple things. i stopped since my camcorder broke and don’t have a digital camera. i got my parents to buy me this macbook pro because once i start my first semester im going to look into film editing and cool stuff like that. so im asking what should i start looking up online or what should i read so i could be a bit more in the known. once i get money i will buy a camcorder and some good editing software i guess like aperture for the mac. i just want to be able to make my own movies with cool effects and other stuff. i was looking up programs and in some forums they were talking about plug ins and file types that i havent heard of involving there videos etc. any advice or sites, resources would be greatly appreciated.

you should make cool youtube videos like nigahiga and smosh. they are famous on youtube.
