Two friends, Pran and Gopal, from the city with contrasting beliefs about love take their annual holiday in the country. One is a womaniser, the other is waiting for his Miss Right. Whilst Gopal callously uses and discards Neela, the sensitive Pran finds the love of his life when he meets Reshma. But for neither man will the consequences of these meetings be without anguish.
