Well, me and my friends are making a kind of High School Musical thing, except we are changing the plot completely. We are using the same beat as the HSM songs but different lyrics. Our principal has agreed to let us film inside our school building, but only if we could find a contest to enter the movie in. After all, we DO need a purpose. Is there any movie contests where the deadline is maybe, in May, or around there?

Do a Google search of ‘ Independent Film Festival ‘
Be aware, a lot of contests are rip-offs. They take your entree fee and never have an actual film festival.
Research the festival and make sure it has happened & is happening this year. Make sure your film falls into one of their catagories.
