I count at least three layers of indirection between the Lego set here and the original horrific World War Two reality that the orignal toy represents:

* real life soldiers injured by war

* cheap plastic army men toys, sold by the bucket, for kids to act out battles in their playrooms & backyards

* expensive computer animated movie depicting the bucket of cheap plastic army men come to life in a cartoon kid’s house

* cheap (compared to movie production or real life warfare) or expensive (compared to original cheap plastic army men or to Mega Bloks) Lego replica of the movie replica of the toy replica of the battlefield carnage

You can’t help but wonder if someone was going for a toy industry record here.
